What Employer rating means
Employer review sites let current and former employees rate a company, usually from 1 to 5 overall and on areas such as pay, culture, management, and work-life balance. The overall average, with the number of reviews behind it, is the employer rating candidates see first.
Glassdoor also asks whether the reviewer approves of the CEO, would recommend the company to a friend, and expects the business outlook to improve, and shows each as a percentage. Tracked over time, these move faster than the overall rating after events such as layoffs or leadership changes.
Clair's Glassdoor company endpoint returns ratings with the overall rating, six sub-ratings, and the three percentages, alongside counts and the newest reviews.
