Overview
What teams build with the Glassdoor Jobs API
Job boards and aggregators
Fill a niche board with live listings by keyword and location, each with its apply link.
Hiring signals
Track which companies post which roles, and how many, as a signal for sales or investment research.
Pay benchmarks
Collect the salary ranges Glassdoor attaches to listings for a role and city.
Official API retired
Is there an official Glassdoor API?
Not for new developers. Glassdoor's help center says it no longer supports API partnerships.
Glassdoor used to run a partner API with job, company, and salary endpoints. Its documentation pages are still online, but there is no partner program left to join, so they are of no use to a new project.
Clair reads the same public pages a signed-out visitor sees, in a real browser, and returns them in a fixed schema. Pages Glassdoor keeps behind its login, such as the full review history and interview questions, are not offered.
Read from these pages on September 28, 2026.

Code
Integrate in minutes
One host, one Bearer key for every Clair API. Each call returns JSON with the same envelope, so a second API is a new path, not a new client.
curl -G "https://api.clair.im/v1/glassdoor/jobs?q=software+engineer&page=1" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

Pricing
Which filters are supported?
Location, remote, hybrid, or onsite, job type, and posting age of 1, 3, 7, or 14 days.
Does it include the salary?
When Glassdoor shows one: min, max, median, currency, period, and its source.
How do I get the full description?
Send a result's id to the job endpoint for qualifications, responsibilities, benefits, and the posting text.
What does the Glassdoor Jobs API return?
Public job cards only. job_type, workplace_type, pay band, and skills come from Glassdoor’s embedded listing data. location uses locKeyword, not Glassdoor’s IL/IC slug. id is the numeric listing id from a search result.
Which endpoints does a plan include?
All of them: Search, Job. Each call spends this API's rate from your plan's balance.
How is a request counted?
Each call is one request, and each extra page is a new call. A malformed request (400) is not counted, and a request that fails on our side (5xx) is refunded.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. The free tier is $1 of usage a month across every Clair API, with no card: about 173 Glassdoor Jobs API requests if it all goes here. It resets monthly, and calls stop when the balance runs out.
What happens when I use up my plan's balance?
The API returns 429 until the next period, on every plan, and nothing is billed past the balance. An upgrade starts a new month at once, and the unused balance carries over.
Does my plan cover other Clair APIs?
Yes. One plan and one key cover every Clair API, and every call spends from the same monthly balance. Your first call starts the free tier.
