Our APIs
Useful data starts before the request.
Clair does the collecting, cleaning, normalization, and provenance work in the background. Your application gets a focused read contract.
News API
Use quoted phrases, OR and exclusions across title and cleaned content. Filter publishers and time, sort by publication or relevance, and continue with a query-bound opaque cursor.

What is Clair?
Clair builds focused developer APIs over scattered public information. The current catalog includes searchable news and normalized job postings.
Which APIs are available?
Currently, the News API and the Jobs API are available. The News API provides keyword search, source and category filters, metadata, and cursor-based corpus traversal. The Jobs API provides normalized active postings across major ATS platforms. There are more upcoming APIs on the way.
Does an API request crawl a publisher or employer site?
No, not currently. Public requests query Clair's prebuilt indexes. Collection and normalization happen asynchronously before a customer request arrives. Web crawler APIs will be available in the future, but they are not listed in the current catalog.
How does pagination work?
Collection endpoints return opaque cursors bound to the query, filters, and ordering that created them. Continue with the same inputs until next_cursor is null.
