render=true sends the page straight to the browser, for pages that
build their content in JavaScript.
It returns the page, not parsed fields. For structured results from Google,
Amazon, Glassdoor, and the other sites in the catalog, use their APIs.
See the Web Scraper API: overview, pricing, and free tier.
Endpoint
GET /v1/scrape · 1 request
Parameters
Response
status is the target page’s own status: a page that answers 404 comes back
as a 200 response with "status": 404. A page neither the direct fetch nor
the browser could load is a 502 scrape_failed, and a page that does not load
within 60 seconds is a 504 timeout. Neither is charged.
What this API does not do
- It does not parse the page or follow links. One URL is one page.
- It does not log in, fill forms, or click.
- It does not fetch private addresses, non-HTML files, or pages over the size limit.
